Appearing on the flag are the following: NEW MADRID, ISLAND No 10, SEIGE OF CORINTH, NASHVILLE, CHICKAMAUGA, MISSION RIDGE, KNOXVILLE, ROCKY FACE, RESACCA (sp?), 16th REGT ILLINOIS VET VOL, ROME, DALLAS, KENESAW MOUNTAIN, PEACHTREE CREEK, JONESBORO, ATLANTA, SAVANNAH, CHARLESTON, AVERASBORO (SP?), BENTONVILLE, RALEIGH.
